GDS Health: A Comprehensive, Individualized service provision for you personal health needs and continuing care.

At GDS Health, we recognize that each individual's journey to mental health recovery is unique. Our admissions process is designed to be flexible and personalized, ensuring that each client receives care that best suits their needs. Our trauma-informed approach prioritizes safety, transparency, and trust, guiding clients through each stage of the process with options to adjust and pivot as needed.

Stage 1: Initial Stabilization and Engagement

The first stage of our process focuses on establishing a strong foundation for identifying you needs.

Upon agreeing to enter into a theraputic relationship, clients undergo an initial assessment to determine the level of care they require. This assessment helps us identify any immediate issues that require attention and begin building a therapeutic relationship based on trust and transparency.

Immediate Stabilization: For clients in acute distress, we may expedite care to address urgent needs, ensuring immediate support and stabilization.

Continued Assessment: If stabilization is not immediately necessary, we proceed with a more thorough evaluation to determine the best course of action.

During this stage, clients are introduced to foundational skills for self-regulation and coping, essential for managing their initial challenges.

Stage 2: Learning and Exploration

After stabilization, clients move into the learning and exploration stage, where we focus on deepening self-awareness and enhancing the skills introduced in Stage

This stage is designed to help clients explore the underlying causes of their mental health challenges and begin applying coping strategies to more complex personal issues.

Focused Therapy: Clients who respond well to initial stabilization may engage in focused therapy sessions that target specific issues, such as trauma or anxiety.

Exploratory Therapy: For those who need more time to explore their experiences, we offer extended therapy options that allow for a deeper understanding of personal challenges, that finds the right modality that works. Throughout this stage, our team works closely with clients to ensure that the approach remains flexible and responsive to their evolving needs.

Stage 3: Application and Maintenance

In the third stage, clients focus on applying the skills and strategies they have learned to real-world situations. This stage is crucial for reinforcing independence and preparing clients for life beyond the program.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP): Clients who need ongoing support but are ready to start transitioning back to daily life can opt for intensive outpatient programs, which offer structured therapy while allowing more freedom.

Inpatient Support: For those who need more time in a controlled environment, extended inpatient care is available to ensure a solid foundation before moving towards greater independence.

Our team works with each client to develop a personalized maintenance plan, ensuring they have the tools needed to manage their mental health in the long term.

Stage 4: Consolidation, Autonomy, and Step Down

The final stage of the process focuses on consolidating the progress made and transitioning clients out of intensive care. This stage involves a reflective look at the journey so far, helping clients recognize the changes they have made and reinforcing their autonomy.

Step Down: Clients may opt for a graduated step-down approach, where support is gradually reduced to help ease the transition back to daily life.

Ongoing Support: For those who feel they need continued assistance, we offer extended support services, including regular check-ins and access to support groups.
This stage includes the creation of a comprehensive aftercare plan, with touchpoints and structured support to ensure a smooth transition out of the service.

Clients are encouraged to remain engaged with GDS Health through our aftercare programs, ensuring they continue to thrive long after they leave our care.
